Why does my order say shipped but I don’t see tracking updates?
If your order shows as shipped but the tracking does not show movement yet, this is normal.
When your order ships, a tracking number is created right away, but the shipping carrier may not show updates until the package is scanned.
Tracking number created vs scanned
When the shipping label is printed, the tracking number becomes active.
At first, the tracking page may say things like:
- Pending receipt
- Label created
- USPS awaiting item
- Pre-shipment
This means the package has been prepared, but the carrier has not scanned it yet.
Tracking updates usually appear after the first scan, which is often the next business day.
Tracking updates are not real time
USPS tracking is not updated instantly.
Updates are usually posted after the package is processed, often at the end of the day.
It is normal for tracking to show no movement until the carrier posts the first update.
Sometimes the package is already moving even though the tracking page has not updated yet.
How to check tracking in your account
You can check tracking by logging into your account and opening your order.
Go to the My Account page, click Orders, then open the order and click the Track button.
If you did not create an account when you placed your order, you can create one now using the same email address you used at checkout.
Once you log in, your previous orders will appear automatically under My Orders.
If tracking still does not update
If your order shows shipped but tracking has not updated after a reasonable amount of time, please submit a support ticket and we will help you.
